RAAM’s Cerita Lila Crosses One Million Cinema Views

Jakarta, 20 Jul 2026 — PT Tripar Multivision Plus Tbk (IDX: RAAM, or the "Company") reports that its horror film Cerita Lila has surpassed one million cinema admissions nationwide. As of mid-July 2026, cumulative admissions stood at 1,000,739, according to Cinepoint and filmindonesia.or.id, making it the 15th Indonesian film to cross one million admissions this year.
Cerita Lila opened in theatres on June 18, 2026, directed by Bobby Prasetyo and starring Lutesha, Shareefa Daanish, Myesha Lin, Firzanah Alya, and Sara Wijayanto. The story is adapted from Diary Misteri Sara, a YouTube channel with more than 11 million views, and leans on grief and family trauma rather than jump scares, received positive responses from audiences throughout its run.
This achievement not only reflects strong box office performance but also demonstrates RAAM's ability to develop compelling stories into content that resonates with a broad audience. This capability is a key component of the Company's integrated business model, which encompasses content development, distribution, and cinema operations.
Beyond box office revenue, a film's economic value may also be generated through licensing, streaming platforms, television broadcasting, and international distribution, in accordance with the applicable commercial agreements.
The momentum behind Cerita Lila lines up with broader industry trends. Indonesian films drew 80.27 million admissions in 2025, according to the Ministry of Culture, with local films holding roughly 60% of the market. By mid-July 2026, 15 Indonesian films had already crossed one million admissions this year, with horror leading the field. Sustained demand of this kind, both for the Company’s own content and for local films generally, supports RAAM’s plans to expand its film slate and grow its cinema network.
RAAM is also moving ahead with a rights issue. The plan (PMHMETD) was approved at an Extraordinary General Meeting on May 5, 2026, authorising the Company to issue up to 1,362,724,000 new shares at a par value of Rp60, equivalent to up to 20% of the paid-up capital, with dilution capped at 16.67%. Proceeds are planned to be used to support working capital to fund content production and for a capital injection into subsidiary PT Platinum Sinema, which plans to build 50 new cinemas. That approval is only the first step: the exercise price, final prospectus, and offering timeline are still to be set, and the Company has up to 12 months from the approval date to complete the process.
"We are grateful for how audiences have responded to Cerita Lila. Thank you to everyone who came out to watch it, and to the filmmakers, cast, and cinema partners who helped bring it to life. Stories like this are exactly why we keep opening more places for people to watch them. Every new screen means more communities can experience the films we make, and that kind of reach is what we are building toward in the years ahead," said Ram Jethmal Punjabi, President Director of RAAM.
More films and series are already in development, alongside the continued growth of the Platinum Cineplex network, which now operates in 18 locations. For RAAM, content and cinemas work as one strategy, built to grow revenue over the long run.
