RAAM Posts Strong First-Quarter Profit as Blockbuster Slate Powers Regional Expansion

Jakarta, 29 April 2025 – PT Tripar Multivision Plus Tbk (IDX: RAAM) opened 2025 on a high note, booking a net profit of IDR 6.65 billion for the three months ended 31 March 2025, up 38.5% from the same period last year. Although first-quarter revenue eased to IDR 49.8 billion after an exceptionally busy release calendar in early 2024, disciplined cost control and a surge in ancillary income lifted the Company’s bottom line and nearly doubled its net margin to 13.4%.
A key driver of the Company’s strong first-quarter performance was the wide appeal of Pengantin Setan. Released in January, the supernatural thriller garnered strong traction in domestic cinemas and continued to resonate with audiences abroad. By the end of March, the film had opened in several Southeast Asian markets, including Vietnam and Thailand, further amplifying RAAM’s regional presence. “Our strategy is straightforward: pair strong storytelling with disciplined execution, then give each film the runway to travel,” said Ario Bayu, RAAM’s VP of Operations & Business Development. “The warm reception to Pengantin Setan across multiple countries affirms our belief that Indonesian stories have the power to connect with broader audiences.”
Looking ahead, RAAM reiterates its positive outlook for the full year. A diversified release calendar, healthy cinema attendance and the continued recovery of global markets provide a clear runway for growth, even as the Company maintains strict cost discipline to safeguard margins. “We are laser-focused on converting creative success into sustainable financial returns,” Ario Bayu concluded. “That commitment — to audiences and to shareholders alike — defines RAAM’s path forward.”
