Platinum Cineplex Hosts the Launch of Warung Pocong and a Social Charity Event with the Regent and Officials of the Sragen Regency Government.

Sragen, April 3, 2026 – Platinum Cineplex, in collaboration with Warung Pocong Film and the Sragen Regency Government, successfully held the Launching and Special Screening event for Warung Pocong. This comedy-horror film featured appearances by its main cast, including Randhika Jamil, Sadana Agung, and Shareefa Daanish, who greeted the audience and took photos together at Platinum Cineplex Atrium Sragen.

The presence of the cast successfully attracted significant attention from the people of Sragen, ranging from Gen Z to millennials, who showed great enthusiasm in attending the special screening event. The film tells the story of three young men struggling to survive supernatural terror, blending humor with tension to deliver a fun, entertaining, and relatable horror concept that resonates with everyday life.

The event was attended by the Regent of Sragen, Mr. Sigit Pamungkas, S.IP., M.A., and the Vice Regent, Mr. H. Suroto, along with officials from the Sragen Regency Government and the entire Warung Pocong film crew. Their presence reflects strong support for the growth of the film and creative industries in the region. In addition to the launching and screening activities, the event also included a social initiative organized by Platinum Cineplex and the Warung Pocong team, consisting of the distribution of basic necessities to underprivileged residents through the Sragen Regency Government as a form of social responsibility.
